- Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 12th class or equivalent, Typing speed 35 w.p.m. (English), 30 w.p.m. (Hindi) on computer
- Junior Hydrographic Surveyor (JHS): Degree in Civil Engg OR Diploma in Civil Engg. + 3 yrs exp. OR SR-III of Indian Navy + 7 yrs exp in Hydrography/Navigation; Desirable: Computer Programming knowledge
- Senior Accounts Officer (SAO): Graduate + CA/ICWA/SAS/Commercial Exam pass + 3 yrs supervisory exp. in Commercial Accounts
Desirable: Degree/Diploma in Business Management

- Skill test (typing) for LDC
- Interview for Senior Accounts Officer
- Merit-based selection; normalization applicable; reservation as per Govt. rules
