National Health Mission (NHM), Mumbai invites online applications from qualified candidates for appointment to the post of Community Health Officer (CHO) on a contract basis. This statewide recruitment aims to strengthen public health delivery at the grassroots level. Selected candidates will be posted at various health facilities across Maharashtra and are expected to undergo training and contribute to primary healthcare. Educational Qualification:
- BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery) with valid NMC/MCIM registration and completed internship (as per notification date)
- BUMS (Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery) with registration and completed internship
- B.Sc Nursing / B.Sc Community Health from recognized university/institute with valid Nursing Council Registration

- Only domicile of Maharashtra are eligible; Some positions open to Marathi-speaking candidates from 865 border villages per rules
