Spices Board, a premier government organization dedicated to the promotion and quality assurance of Indian spices, invites eligible Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates to participate in a walk-in test for the position of Trainee Analyst in Chemistry. This training program offers hands-on experience in chemical analysis of spices at the Quality Evaluation Laboratory in Kolkata. Selected trainees will receive a monthly stipend and gain valuable skills under expert guidance. Interested candidates should prepare the required documents and attend the test as per the schedule.

Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or B.Sc with Chemistry as a main subject from a recognized university/institute or equivalent.
Note: Candidates who have undergone training in any office of Spices Board are NOT eligible to apply, regardless of training completion.

Not more than 30 years as on the date of walk-in test (03 December 2025).

Two vacancies reserved exclusively for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.

No application fee mentioned.

Selection will be based on a walk-in test conducted at the venue mentioned above. A panel will be created for future requirements. The number of trainees indicated is provisional and may vary at time of selection.

Note: This training is for learning purposes only and does not lead to regular employment or regularization at any stage. Validity of rank list is two years only.

1. Eligible candidates must fill in and sign the application form (Annexure I of the notification).
2. Bring the form along with original certificates and one set of attested photocopies of the following documents:
• Passport size recent color photograph
• Proof of identity (Voter ID, Aadhaar, etc.)
• Proof of age
• Proof of educational qualifications (and training, if any)
• Caste Certificate
3. Submit all documents stapled to the filled application form on the day of the walk-in test.
