About the Role & Team

As an Electrical Analysis Engineer, you will report to the Functional Manager within the Launch Quality Centre—specifically joining either the Update Centre or the Electrical Problem Solving Team. You will play a pivotal role in analyzing complex electrical issues across manufacturing series and pre-series production lines. Your engineering insight, manufacturing expertise, and problem-solving mindset will drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure the precision of the electrical build story and seamless delivery to takt.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze reported electrical issues to identify areas of responsibility, outline containment requirements, and establish fix timings.
- Support Production to ensure all electrical processes are robust and meet the required cost, quality, and timing targets.
- Support project work through dedicated vehicle development and commissioning activities during the Pre-Series phases using specialized engineering tools.
- Consult seamlessly with stakeholders to plan and prioritize workflows, ensuring all manufacturing targets are successfully met.
- Follow and strictly adhere to existing process documentation, actively updating information if process changes occur.
- Utilize deep knowledge and experience to determine the most efficient way of carrying out tasks, ensuring completion directly aligns with customer requirements.
Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
- Problem-Solving Expertise: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on experience using 8D or similar root cause analysis methodologies.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep experience in vehicle electronics and commissioning, including advanced testing and diagnostics.
