About the Role & Work Environment

Duties and Responsibilities

• Actively support Center Events Team initiatives by coordinating, communicating, and executing major Center Events and SFA Ceremonies on-site.
• Coordinate seamlessly with Points of Contact (POCs) across the entire space center to ensure event logistics are flawlessly managed.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with KSC employees regarding upcoming events and initiatives.
• Prepare, design, and organize essential materials for high-profile ceremonies and workforce events.
• Provide on-the-ground support during the execution of events and ceremonies, ensuring everything runs according to plan.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

• Citizenship: Applicants must be strictly United States Citizens.
• Academic Level: Must be a currently enrolled student at the Undergraduate Sophomore, Junior, or Senior level. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
• Preferred Majors: Students pursuing degrees in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Liberal Arts, History, Behavioral Sciences, Psychology, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or Visual and Performing Arts are highly encouraged to apply.
• Core Competencies: A strong passion for space exploration combined with excellent event planning, networking, and communication skills.
