Duties and Responsibilities

Depending on your assigned track, your core responsibilities will encompass:

• Quantum Security: Address vulnerabilities exposed by quantum computing by researching and implementing Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC).
• AI/ML GenAI Security: Support Generative AI enablement initiatives by leveraging your foundation in AI, machine learning, and data science frameworks.
• Application & Infrastructure Security: Drive risk reduction through the rapid identification and remediation of vulnerabilities, utilizing Threat Modeling, DAST, SAST, and secure coding practices.
• Incident Response & Threat Intelligence: Act as the 24/7 front line of defense, monitoring, detecting, and responding to security events that affect Amex globally.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

• Educational Status: Must be currently enrolled in a Master's or PhD degree in Cyber Security, AI/ML, Quantum, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related technical field.
