About the opportunity

Join the Sony AI family and shape how to “Unleash human imagination and creativity’’. As a junior research scientist with a focus on Reinforcement Learning and Artificial Intelligence, you will develop novel solutions leveraging the cutting-edge Sony robotic technology.

YourTask : 

• Conduct research on Reinforcement Learning and implement RL algorithms on real robots for practical execution.

• Work closely with a team of AI researchers and programmers in Zurich and Tokyo to address AI questions on ambitious projects.

• Write codes to support research in both Python and C++.

• Write reports and give presentations for internal audiences with an opportunity to participate in international conferences.

• You Should Have MS in the field of Robotics or Reinforcement Learning

Prerequisite Skills : 

• you possess industrial experience with robots and control

• Strong programming knowledge and proficiency in one or more of the following: Python, C++, and further experience in working in code versioning control processes and tools (Github).

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, as well as interpersonal skills including the ability to address both technical and non-technical audiences.

Other Skills : 

o    Passion for making AI work in realistic domains.

o    Ability to deliver on tight deadlines and adapt to evolving or changing scenarios.
