National Highway Authority of India Recruitment Walk-in Notification 2025 – LA Support Officer

NHAI Project Implementation Unit, Purulia is inviting eligible retired revenue officers for walk-in interview for the post of LA Support Officer, assisting in land acquisition for national highway projects in WB and Jharkhand. The appointment is on short-term contract through placement agency, with tenure and remuneration as per current NHAI policy.

• Liaison with State Govt. for land acquisition work
• Monitor land acquisition progress across active projects
• Support on-ground resolution of issues, mutation, awards, compensation, case advice
• Coordinate court/arbitration cases, department liaisons, plot demarcation, DLAO interaction
• Other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer

• Retired Tahsildar / Nayab Tahsildar / higher level Officer ONLY
• Extensive experience in land acquisition and revenue survey/measurement, maps, Khatauni
• Sound knowledge of Land Survey, Revenue Maps, relevant acts and compensation procedures
• Age: Up to 65 Years at initial engagement (extendable up to 3 years, not beyond 70)
• Preference to local officers familiar with West Bengal/Jharkhand and relevant revenue laws

• Last pay drawn minus pension, as per NHAI Policy Circular No. 7.1.88/2025
• Reimbursement of up to ₹10,000/month for mobile, transport, official expenses
• Vehicle facility for official purposes may be provided
• Paid leave: 8 Casual + 15 Sick days per calendar year (cannot carry forward)
• Attend office on all working days
• Probation: 3 months (review for performance before annual extension)
