Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, a Grade-I NAAC-accredited Deemed University, invites applications for contractual positions of Cook and Helper in the Dining Hall and Facility Services. The engagement is purely temporary on contract basis for one year, renewable based on performance.

• Cook (Dining Hall):
  • Educational Qualification: 8th Standard passed (Essential)
  • Experience: 2-3 years in star hotels, banquet kitchen, institution canteen, guest house kitchen, catering, etc.
• Helper (Dining Hall):
  • Educational Qualification: 8th Standard passed (Essential)
  • Experience: 1 year as kitchen helper/cook's helper in bulk cooking for more than 200 people in star hotel, outdoor catering, institutional canteen, or guest house kitchen
  • Age: Preferably below 35 years as on 30 September 2025
• Helper (Multi-Tasking Staff cum Sweeper – Facility Services):
  • Educational Qualification: 8th Standard passed (Essential)
  • Experience: 1 year as Facility Services/Hostel Helper/MTS/Sweeper at outdoor/hostel/institute
  • Age: Preferably below 35 years as on 30 September 2025
• Qualifications and experience are relaxable for candidates with long service and good work record
• Only Indian nationals need to apply

• Shortlisting based on submitted applications and documents
• Interview for shortlisted candidates only (date to be notified later)
• Interview will be conducted in-person at TISS Mumbai
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview
• Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email/phone
