CCSID at IIEST Shibpur invites applications for a dynamic Research Associate / Scientific Officer to contribute to multidisciplinary sustainable infrastructure research focused on clean energy, eco-friendly building materials, climate change mitigation, and technological innovations.

• PhD in Engineering/Science with at least 2 years post-doctoral experience from reputed institutes.
• Excellent research record evidenced by international journal publications or patents.
• Research expertise desirable in sustainability, clean energy, energy storage, transmission, carbon capture, eco-friendly materials, climate-induced disaster mitigation, and technological innovations as described.
• Proven grant acquisition success considered advantage.
• Good communication and team-building skills are essential.

• Assist centre director in strategic direction and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Lead impactful research aligned with CCSID goals.
• Coordinate research activities and proposal development.
• Cultivate academic, government, and industry partnerships.
• Manage grant acquisition, budgeting, and reporting.

• Consolidated remuneration ₹70,000 per month with a provision for yearly increment.
• Initial tenure 3 years with annual appraisal.
• EITHER party may terminate association with 30 days prior written notice.
