Applicants must be enrolled in (or have completed) a graduate school programme (Master’s, PhD or equivalent) OR be in the final year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent). Candidates should possess academic backgrounds related to the subject area of the internship.
No formal age limit, but the role is intended for recent graduates, postgraduates, or students in their final year.
- Enrolled in or completed final year of Bachelor’s, or in/completed a higher degree (Master’s/PhD) in a relevant field.
- Field of study closely related to the duties of the internship (e.g., international relations, political science, development studies, public administration).
- Assist with implementation of mine action projects (research, analysis, drafting case studies, background papers, administrative support).
- Provide information on explosive ordnance to support peacebuilding efforts.
- Assist humanitarian action to protect children/adolescents affected by conflict.
- Support crosscutting functions for project management and coordination in Bogota and for new incoming projects.
- Assist in resource mobilization activities, documentation of programme decisions, and learning processes.
- Support communications and visibility strategies, including social media content drafting and event support.
- Assist with preparation of budgets and project proposal documents for new donor projects.
