Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and implement novel approaches to circuit and VLSI design, including comprehensive ASIC development.
  • Develop and optimize advanced Electronic Design Automation (EDA) methodologies.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal team members, cross-functional teams, and external academic researchers.
  • Successfully transfer your research to product groups to enable new, groundbreaking products or types of products.
  • Deliver tangible results including functional prototypes, patents, production-ready designs, and original published research.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

  • Educational Status: You must be actively enrolled in a university pursuing a PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field for the entire duration of the internship.
  • Technical Skills: Strong prior experience or knowledge involving SystemVerilog, CAD tool packages (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, HFSS), ML Frameworks (e.g., PyTorch), and EDA tools.
  • Research Background: A strong, demonstrable background in research, specifically highlighted by publications at top-tier conferences and/or registered patents.
  • Core Competencies: Excellent communication and collaboration skills are strictly required to bridge the gap between research and product development.
