The Indirect Procurement (IP) department is a vital Finance function dealing with the purchases of goods and services not directly involved in product manufacturing, such as Logistics & Transportation, Marketing & Communication, Property & Facilities, IT, and HR. As an intern, you will be at the heart of the procurement activities for Chanel Switzerland and wider Swiss Markets (including Panama, Mexico, Brazil, and India), gaining exposure to a fast-paced, highly collaborative international environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide essential support in the evolvement of the Procurement function and its tools, consistently sharing best procurement practices across teams.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to deeply understand their business requirements and determine how they can be effectively met.
• Support business teams through the entire procurement process, from strategic sourcing to professional negotiation.
• Assist in comprehensive contract management, vendor performance evaluations, and supplier risk assessments.
• Contribute to overall category management across Chanel's diverse divisions, including Fashion, Fragrances & Beauty, and Watches & Fine Jewelry.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

• Educational Status: Candidates must be pursuing a higher education degree (University or Business School) with a specific specialization in Procurement or Supply Chain.
• Mandatory Academic Conditions: An internship agreement is strictly required. The internship must be part of your study program, required for the completion of your degree, and validated by the award of academic credits.
• Technical Skills: Must be highly at ease with numbers, possessing strong analytical skills, rigorous organization, and solid proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (specifically Excel and PowerPoint).
• Language Proficiency: Absolute fluency in both French and English is required to navigate the international scope of the role. Knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is considered a strong plus.
