ICMR Scientist-C Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 8 Vacancy

ICMR invites applications from Indian citizens for direct recruitment of Scientist-C posts in Medical stream to be posted at ICMR headquarters, institutes, and centers across India with all India transfer liability.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by [translate:Medical Council of India (MCI)] / National Medical Commission (NMC)
- 4 years MD / MS or equivalent degree recognized by MCI / NMC or MPH from a recognized university
- OR Ph.D. from a recognized university related to Biomedical Science
- Ph.D. will be considered as 4 years of experience for age relaxation
- Experience in Biomedical Sciences Research / Development in Government / Public Sector / Private Institutions is desirable
- Age relaxation applicable as per government norms and exceptional merit with approval from Director General, ICMR
Selection Process
- Selection through computer-based written test (MCQs) and/or interview
- Minimum qualifying percentile: 75%
- Application fee: ₹1500, exempted for SC/ST/Women/PwBD/EWS candidates
- Fee payable online only
- Result and communication via official ICMR website only
