All trades/disciplines—students/candidates must be registered & approved in:
- NAPS portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) for ITI trades
- NATS portal (nats.education.gov.in) for Graduate/Diploma apprentices
Engineering/Diploma/ITI holders with contract created more than 5 years after passing, or with >1 year experience, are not eligible; only gap ≤5 years allowed for portal registration.
Eligibility Criteria & Documents
- Indian nationals only; minimum age 16 years as on date of notification
- Qualifications: As per above table/trade
- Reservation as per Apprenticeship Rules/NMDC/Govt norms; valid certificate format required
- Bring (at walk-in):
- NAPS/NATS registration profile pages (approved)
- Duly filled bio-data form (at venue; form in notification annexure)
- 1 passport size photo
- Self-attested photocopies + originals: 10th certificate (age proof), qualification certificates, caste/valid reservation docs
- Selection by interview/verification only; no TA/DA paid, no employment guarantee post-training.
Training & Stipend
- Apprenticeship period: 1 year only, as per Act/Rules
- Stipend: As per Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 & NMDC norms (exact per trade as per latest Govt rates)
- No accommodation, food by NMDC; arrangements are at apprentice’s cost
