About the Role & Work Environment
IOM works to help ensure the orderly and humane management of migration, promote international cooperation, and provide vital humanitarian assistance to migrants in need. As part of its operations in Kosovo, the ICT intern will support the provision of comprehensive technology solutions and services in the country office. Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide crucial end-user support and ensure all ICT incidents and requests are resolved within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Deliver first-line support for IOM's corporate applications and various in-house developed software programs.
- Install and relocate hardware, coordinate necessary equipment servicing, and manage user accounts efficiently.
- Respond promptly to information security incidents, mitigate IT risks, and escalate complex issues to specialist teams for resolution.
- Apply regular operating system updates, software patches, and firmware upgrades to maintain robust security against vulnerabilities.
- Support the management of ICT software licenses and equipment inventories, actively advising management on required replacements and renewals.
Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
- Educational Status: Applicants must be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree (minimum Bachelor's level) or have graduated within the last 12 months with a degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Remuneration & Conditions
