About the Role & Unit

In this role, you will join the Hardware Platforms research group in Antwerp, working in close collaboration with digital and analog ASIC experts to provide added value to strategic digital hardware building blocks.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Jointly develop and design an RTL implementation on FPGA or ASIC of several state-of-the-art digital signal processing (DSP) and/or AI/ML algorithms.
- Perform rigorous transistor-level simulations to ensure hardware efficacy.
- Validate the implementation and conduct comparative analysis against state-of-the-art solutions in terms of performance and power consumption.
- Propose out-of-the-box, innovative solutions that deliver a high-performance impact for next-generation mobile or optical communication systems.
- Document all findings comprehensively and present the developed system and results to a wider Bell Labs audience.
Eligibility Criteria
