About the Role & Work Environment
The Division of Information Technology (MTIT) provides crucial support to the IAEA in the field of information and communication technology, spanning from hardware infrastructure to cloud services. Within this division, the Business Technology Coordination Section (BTCS) manages the implementation of the IAEA Business Technology Strategic Plan and facilitates ICT governance. The chosen intern will assist the Knowledge Management Team in executing updates, refining processes, and deploying portals to ensure information is efficiently organized and accessible across the Secretariat.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Knowledge Management Team in the implementation, release, and updating of the Knowledge Management Portal, sites, Service Now, and related documentation.
- Support the project manager in the analysis, review, and evaluation of data and historical documentation collected from various sources.
- Document the technical concepts and approaches applied within the Knowledge Management framework.
- Organize and maintain internal knowledge repositories and support knowledge sharing activities while gathering stakeholder feedback.
- Assist heavily with Knowledge Management tools, particularly utilizing Service Now and Microsoft SharePoint.
Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
- Educational Status: Candidates must have completed at least three years of full-time studies at a university towards a first degree, OR be within one year after the completion of a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate degree.
- Field of Study: A University Degree in Information Technology or another relevant field is required.
- Technical Skills: Strong experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint) is required. Prior exposure to Service Now is highly desirable.
