About the Role & Work Environment
The Department of Safeguards carries out the IAEA's critical duties and responsibilities related to global nuclear inspection and verification. The IAEA accepts a limited number of interns each year to expose them to the inner workings of the United Nations system and the specialized programs of the IAEA.
