ASHINE (Association for Harnessing Innovation and Entrepreneurship), a NIDHI-TBI (Technology Business Incubator) established at SVNIT Surat in association with DST (Department of Science & Technology), Government of India, is recruiting a young and dynamic candidate for Incubation Assistant on contractual basis. ASHINE is a Section 8 not-for-profit company promoting entrepreneurship, startup ecosystem, and technology commercialization.

ASHINE aims to promote entrepreneurial activity on SVNIT campus and commercialization of R&D efforts across all disciplines of Engineering and Technology including Energy, Environment, and Manufacturing. It extensively undertakes pre-incubation activities for SVNIT students under the SSIP (Student Startup and Innovation Policy) of Government of Gujarat and envisions developing incubation activities in other sectors with support from various government, semi-government, and private entities.

• Educational Qualification (Essential):
  • Professional degrees like: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc/M.Sc/M.Tech/MBA/MS/PGDBM/M.Pharm/CA
  • Any graduate/postgraduate professional degree from recognized university
• Experience (Essential):
  • Minimum 1 year of overall work experience
  • Preference: Work experience in incubation center OR handling activities/responsibilities relevant to startup ecosystem, technology commercialization, IPR, or related fields
• Age Limit: Less than 35 years
• Preferred: Familiarity with Surat city and surroundings will be an advantage

• Support and coordinate with startup incubatees in day-to-day operations
• Assist in pre-incubation and incubation activities for SVNIT students and external startups
• Facilitate technology commercialization, IPR filing, and startup ecosystem development
• Coordinate with government, semi-government, and private entities for incubation support
• Organize events, workshops, and mentoring sessions for startups
• Maintain records and documentation related to incubation activities
• Support ASHINE management in administrative and operational tasks
• Any other duties as assigned by ASHINE management
