The Border Security Force (BSF), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, invites applications from meritorious sportspersons (Male and Female) for recruitment to 391 posts of Constable (General Duty) under the Sports Quota. This recruitment is for Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial posts — temporary but likely to be made permanent. Candidates can apply online till 04 November 2025.

Total 391 vacancies are distributed across various sports disciplines for both men and women, such as Athletics, Archery, Boxing, Wrestling, Shooting, Swimming, Gymnastics, Judo, Taekwondo, and more.

• **Educational Qualification:** Matriculation (10th Pass) from a recognized board or equivalent.
• **Age Limit:** 18 to 23 years as on 1 August 2025.
• **Age Relaxation:** As per Government Rules (SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years).
• **Sports Qualification:** Sportspersons who have represented India internationally or have won medals/positions in recognized National/International events between 04 November 2023 to 04 November 2025.

Level 3 – ₹21,700 to ₹69,100 as per 7th CPC, along with admissible Central Government allowances and pension benefits under NPS (w.e.f. 01 January 2004).

• Visual Standard: 6/6 or 6/9 (without glasses)
• No knock-knee, flat feet, or squint.
• Must be in good physical and mental health.
• Colour blindness not permitted.

Fee must be paid through the BSF recruitment portal. No other mode is accepted.
