Oil India Limited (OIL), a Maharatna PSU, invites eligible candidates from Assam and Arunachal Pradesh for contractual engagement of Drilling Workover Operator and Drilling Workover Assistant Operator at Field Headquarters, Duliajan. Selection is through walk-in-only mode as per the schedule below.

Eligibility & Qualification
For Drilling Workover Operator:
- Class 10th pass + 3 year Diploma in Engineering (any stream) from Govt. recognized Polytechnic + 2 yrs post-qualification work experience in drilling/workover operations OR
- Bachelor’s degree (Science stream) from recognized University + 2 yrs experience in Drilling/Workover OR
- Class 10th pass + Trade Certificate (Diesel Mechanic/Fitter/Electrician/Turner/Welder/Motor Mechanic/Machinist) + 5 yrs post-qualification experience in relevant Drilling/Workover work
- Class 10th pass + Trade Certificate (Diesel Mechanic/Fitter/Electrician/Turner/Welder/Motor Mechanic/Machinist) + 2 yrs post-qualification experience in Drilling/Workover
All qualifications/proofs must be from Government recognized Boards/Institutions only.
Age Limit (as on Registration Date)
- Drilling Workover Operator: 18–45 yrs (Gen), 18–48 yrs (OBC-NCL), 18–50 yrs (SC)
- Drilling Workover Assistant Operator: 18–40 yrs (Gen), 18–43 yrs (OBC-NCL), 18–45 yrs (ST)
Emoluments

Variable pay calculated based on number of actual working days in a month.
Engagement Period
- Purely on contract for 6 months, extendable up to 2 years (total 4 blocks × 6 months) based on departmental requirement, performance & health.
Selection Process
- Walk-In-Interview cum Personal Assessment (minimum 50% pass marks).
- Final selection purely on merit of Walk-In-Assessment marks.
