- Support design and drafting of ECW’s Annual Results Report by collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing data.
- Perform data quality checks, follow up with grantees, code qualitative data, and contribute to report drafting.
- Conduct background research, literature reviews, and mapping for knowledge synthesis.
- Support design and facilitation of learning exchanges, webinars, and cross-country sessions.
- Assist with database management and information system improvements.
- Define and implement a personal project midway through the internship.
- Background in Education, International Development, or Social Sciences.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills (Excel, R, STATA, Power Query, Kobo).
- Experience in synthesizing information and drafting global-level reports.
- Proficiency in English; French or Spanish is a plus.
- Lived experience in a low- or middle-income country is preferred.
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
Remote online work is standard, but interns must be available during Geneva/CET working hours. Interns are linked to the ECW Secretariat and M&E team in Geneva. Up to 2.5 days off per month allowed. Internship is full-time (35 hours/week), flexible based on mutual agreement.

Interns will gain direct practical experience in international humanitarian-development work in education under the supervision of the M&E team. You’ll learn about organizational processes, data analysis, reporting, and knowledge sharing in crisis settings.
