About the Unit

The People Science team at Roblox supports the Talent Acquisition organization and the broader People, Places, & Systems group with applied statistics and data science. Their core mission is leveraging qualitative and quantitative data to drive decisions and optimize processes across the talent lifecycle. This team is dedicated to translating complex data into clear, actionable tools and insights that empower leadership to scale hiring efforts accurately and efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Leverage and actively contribute to the core data models owned by People Analytics, ensuring underlying data logic is understood and accurately represented.
• Deliver self-service analytical products and reporting dashboards to recruiters and business leaders to enable data-driven operational decisions.
• Build scalable data infrastructure and "single sources of truth" that remain stable as internal systems evolve.
• Provide clarity through all work products: from code and documentation to project plans, visualizations, and tactical recommendations.
• Create well-documented systems and procedures, applying a systematic mindset to develop reusable solutions rather than approaching problems in isolation.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Status: Must be currently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a closely related quantitative field.
