Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse supplier portfolio utilizing MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and SIC order systems.
- Ensure the procurement of required components within contractual lead times, maintaining appropriate warehouse stock levels and logistics parameters.
- Analyze monthly cycle counts for both internal accounting and external subcontracting warehouses.
- Coordinate and manage transportation for dedicated pickups, either from suppliers to Ferrari or between tier suppliers.
- Identify and monitor supply chain bottlenecks that could impact the vehicle production plan, interfacing with relevant departments to resolve issues swiftly.
- Verify that supplier production capacity aligns with planned production ramp-ups and expected daily peaks for various vehicle models.
- Pay particular attention to OPT components, communicating any production constraints directly to the production planning team.
- Set and adjust logistics parameters and delivery schedules for the suppliers under your management.
- Handle different categories of components with distinct procurement logics, including project-based, generic, and consumption-based items.
