About the Role
UNICEF works in over 190 countries and territories to save children's lives, defend their rights, and help them fulfill their potential from early childhood through adolescence. In response to emerging efforts to develop a coherent eLearning approach within Mozambique, UNICEF is taking the lead in generating and developing digital content across various electronic platforms. Under the guidance of the Digital Learning Specialist and the Chief of Education, you will be instrumental in stimulating interaction between instructors and learners, ensuring that critical educational materials are both accessible and engaging.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive content mapping by aligning traditional textbook materials with existing digitized resources from various platforms.
- Design and build interactive quizzes, simulation labs, mini-games, and online tests to digitize textbook questions in a captivating way.
- Propose, create, and follow up on new digital materials that directly correspond with national educational curriculums.
- Create high-quality content utilizing presentation tools, stylus software, plugins, HTML5, and API linkages.
- Review, test, and embed educational content developed by third-party vendors directly into UNICEF's official e-learning platforms.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Status: Applicants must be a recent graduate or currently pursuing a technical degree.
- Preferred Fields of Study: Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Graphic Design, or Multimedia.
- Language Skills: Absolute fluency in both English and Portuguese is required for this role.
