About the Role & Work Environment
The Internship is located in the Outreach Division of the Department of Global Communications, within the Advocacy and Social Impact Section. CCOI promotes powerful partnerships with the global entertainment industry—including film, television, sports, and music—while the MOP Programme coordinates the advocacy work of celebrity Goodwill Ambassadors worldwide. Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide robust support for collaborative projects with external partners from the entertainment and sports industries, including drafting background materials and taking comprehensive meeting notes.
- Monitor and report on the social media activities of UN Messengers of Peace and other high-profile influencers, while collating advocacy engagement metrics.
- Assist in the planning and organization of special events, filming projects, and other high-visibility in-person activities at UN Headquarters.
- Draft, format, edit, and post original, engaging content for the team's websites and social channels.
