Duties and Responsibilities
- Learn innovative new technologies in Machine Learning, AI, and High Performance Compute.
- Analyze and implement changes to algorithms to improve AI performance and user experiences.
- Work on machine learning techniques to build applications for source code analysis and Image Corruption Detection.
- Research, develop, and deploy machine learning-based and computer vision products on AMD's current and future hardware.
- Fix and address problems with deployed AI to improve user experience.
- Support AI software teams with roadmap planning, collateral development, and customer engagements.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Status: Currently enrolled in a U.S.-based University in a Bachelor's degree program.
- Field of Study: Majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science / Analytics, or a closely related field.
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
- Technical Concepts: Knowledge of machine learning, data science, computer vision, statistics, and mathematics.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python and C/C++.
- Databases: Familiarity with Relational (SQL) and No-SQL databases.
- AI/ML Frameworks: Experience with machine learning algorithms and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Caffe.
- Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a strong plus.
