Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate to resolve high-level, very complex, or previously unknown issues requiring expert technical knowledge.
- Work with experienced ASE and customers to establish plans for integration of new software releases, database backups, and recovery strategies.
- Leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to identify, design, and implement data-driven solutions that optimize business processes.
- Perform root cause analysis of difficult database/applications problems and outline their solutions.
- Assist in providing expert advice on Oracle Cloud solutions, best practices, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business development during sales cycles to design optimal solutions for customer requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Status: Must be enrolled in a university prior to and post the internship.
- Field of Study: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Information Technology, Business Management, etc.).
- Experience: Must have between 0 to 2 years of experience. Candidates with more than 2 years of professional full-time work experience are directed to apply to experienced openings instead.
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of Oracle's latest product technologies. Knowledge with Cloud technologies (OCI, Azure, AWS) and database methodologies (Load Balancing, Performance Tuning, SQL analysis). Cloud certifications are highly desirable.
- Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in languages such as Python. Familiarity with machine learning technologies and Generative AI tools.
- Soft Skills: Demonstrates good communication and project management skills. Eagerness to learn, adapt to new technologies, and work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Languages: Applicants are required to read, write, and speak English.

Internship Conditions
- Compensation & Benefits: Hiring range in USD is from $18.17 to $34.62 per hour ($37,800 to $72,000 per annum). Interns have access to comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) company match, paid holidays, and flexible vacation based on eligibility.
- Visa Sponsorship: Visa/work permit sponsorship is not available for this role. Oracle will not support H-1B, TN, O-1, green card, or F-1 (EAD, OPT, CPT, I-20, F-1 visa stamp, etc.) for this position.
