Hiring Teams:

• Platform Modernization Engineering: Automates large-scale upgrades and improves productivity.
• Framework Lifecycle Management (FLM): Manages Java Platform libraries and tools distribution.
• Distributed Refactoring Platform: Builds services/APIs to accelerate source code modernization.
• System Insights & Productivity Metrics: Empowers engineers with metrics (cycle time, lead time) to optimize workflows.

We are seeking experienced Software Engineers passionate about writing software that helps other engineers write software. Key responsibilities include:

• Software Development: Write software that assists other engineers in their development processes.
• Application Building: Develop moderately complex applications using Java and other languages.
• Service Scaling: Scale services to handle hundreds of users and thousands of requests per minute.
• Design & Documentation: Write design documents and drive changes across teams.
• Full-Stack Collaboration: Work across the stack (persistence, data layers, business logic, APIs, UX).
• Data Modelling: Design data models for relational and non-relational datasets; write queries for analytics dashboards.

• Experience: Skilled software engineer with experience in developer platform or productivity teams.
• Project Management: Able to manage projects independently from design to production.
• Testing: Passionate about writing tests and solving reliability challenges in complex domains.
• Problem Solving: Can leverage data to make quantitative decisions and derive signals from noisy systems.
• Communication: Effective collaborator with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Languages: Expertise in Java, Python, JavaScript, or Golang.
• Databases: Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases.
• Build Tools: Expert in Gradle, UV, Bazel, or pip.
• Cloud/Ops: Familiarity with AWS (EC2, S3), Kubernetes, and Linux environments.
• CI/CD: Experience designing and operating continuous delivery/integration systems.
• Analytics/ML: Hands-on experience with machine learning or statistical analysis on large datasets.
