About the Role & Work Environment

The Internal Audit Service (IAS) provides independent, objective assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of governance arrangements, risk management, and controls globally. Under the supervision of the Chief of IAS, the Internal Audit Intern will play a pivotal role in developing a technology-driven Internal Audit Risk Assessment. Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Internal Audit Specialist with the identification, extraction, and cleaning of data sources using Power Query.
- Build comprehensive data models by creating relationships between tables, calculated columns, and metadata organization.
- Develop and design highly interactive PowerBI dashboards, incorporating visual components like charts, maps, and drill-downs.
- Test and validate dashboard numbers against source systems and gather team feedback for continuous improvement.
- Support risk-based end-to-end audits for performance, compliance, and project management by designing data analytics and AI-supported testing approaches.
- Perform trend analyses and develop compelling visual narratives that enhance overall assurance and advisory work.
Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
- Educational Status: Must be enrolled in a graduate school programme, in the final academic year of a Bachelor's degree, enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship, OR have graduated within the last two years.
