- Ensure effective, efficient, and accurate financial operations in line with organizational policies and donor requirements.
- Review and process payment requests, ensuring all payments are authorized, recorded, and supported by documentation.
- Support preparation and verification of expense claims, ensuring compliance with financial policies.
- Assist in preparing and processing Travel Authorizations (TAs), ensuring compliance with internal policies and documentation.
- Monitor and manage petty cash transactions.
- Receipting, banking, and regular monitoring of bank balances.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation reports.
- Prepare returns for statutory payroll deductions and track monthly withholding taxes.
- Assist with data capture into the accounting system.
- Maintain finance registry, ensuring all accounting documents are filed according to standards and donor requirements.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned.
- An Accounting degree from a recognized institution.
- Progress towards professional accounting qualifications is an added advantage.
- Volunteer work or school projects in finance or related fields.
